Teams - A Microsoft 365 Product

Microsoft Teams is used for chat, meetings, video calls and collaboration. Microsoft Teams is a chat-based collaboration tool that provides global, remote, and dispersed teams with the ability to work together and share information via a common space.

Teams has these primary features:

  1. Voicemail option - If a user doesn't pick up or is on another call, the user can leave a voice mail. The voicemail will show up in the user's email and within Teams chat.
  2. Access Teams across all of your devices - Available on both Android, Windows, and iOS, Teams provides a simple and easy-to-use app that allows you to chat with your team via text, have a voice conversation, or a video meeting.
  3. Reduced email- You’ll have less clutter in your inbox as prompt, quick questions get resolved over Teams chat, rather than a potentially long wait for an email reply.
  4. Online meetings- Host audio, video, and web conferences with anyone. Get features such as scheduling assistance, meeting note-taking, screen sharing, meeting recording, and instant messaging.
  5. Schedule your next meeting- Schedule additional meetings quickly with the Teams app or Outlook.
  6. Share content and collaborate- Share your content and collaborate easily during your meeting through seamless integration with Microsoft 365.
