Description
Non-standard accounts can be requested for departmental use or lab use. These accounts can be used to log into computers on campus and can also have an email attached to them. They do not have Portal access unless requested under special circumstances.
Two types of accounts (Non-Standard)
1. Temporary - expires after a certain date and gets deleted.
2. Indefinite accounts - do not get deleted unless System Admin (SA) are notified to delete.
Best practice is that if a network ID/departmental account is going to be used for an event and computer access is needed, the local computer lab Zurn 130 is recommended.
More Information
- All non-standard email accounts (i.e. gupress, admissions, nursing) must use the direct link of: https://office.com to access email
- If this ID is for a class in P2023, this needs to be noted in the additional information field. One ID cannot be shared in these computer labs so we will supply the requested number of IDs.
How to request Network ID or Departmental Account?
To request a non-standard account:

Having trouble signing into an account?
You will need to contact the Help Desk so that System Admin can reset that email account password. Departmental email accounts cannot be reset thru the online password reset link.
