Computer Lab Printer Support

Common issues for printers in the computer labs include:

  1. Out of paper
  2. Out of toner
  3. Paper jam
  4. Tray Jam
  5. Print queue issue
  6. Fuser error

If an ITS computer lab printer is out of paper, then ITS will refill it.  This includes Z 130 and P 2023.

Our agreement with ComDoc, the printer vendor that supports our network printers, is that replacement toner will automatically be ordered once the toner level reaches 20%.  ITS will install replacement toner for the three ITS computer labs.

If the issue reported is related to a jam, or something physically wrong with the printer, then ComDoc should be contacted using the number on the front of the printer, 1-800-321-4846, and the asset tag (E.g., 869657) on the front should be referred to.
