Work at Home resources are provided to you as a convenience to give you the flexibility of accessing your Gannon work data on personal technology such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. There is a wide variety of resources that give you access, below is an overview of what is available through Gannon and how it is provided.
Resolution
- My.gannon.edu - Colleague Self Service for administrative access, BlackBoard for LMS, PeopleAdmin for HR, ITS Help Desk, etc.
- Microsoft Software - Get full versions of Office for use on your personal devices.
- Personal Mobile Devices - Access Gannon resources with your mobile devices.
- Remote Desktop - Remote in and work on your office computer from home.
- VPN Access - Access your shared files and documents on your trout drive from home.
- Shared Network Drives - Access secure Gannon sites and off campus.
- Teams Conferencing - Conduct meetings through web and teleconferencing.
- Equipment Loan - Borrow equipment on a temporary basis to support work at home needs.
Support Information - Contact the Help Desk if you have questions or need assistance on any of these topics. With resources used on your personal equipment, ITS can only provide limited support. Since there can be vast differences in hardware, software, and system settings between devices, we can't offer the same support we provide with Gannon equipment, but we can offer basic troubleshooting and guidance.
