Description

ITS will dispose of Gannon-owned computers and printers when requested. Request removal of technology hardware including computers, monitors, printers, phones, or other electronic peripherals. 


More Information

  • The ITS department does not accept personal computer equipment for donation.
  • Administrative office equipment is stored for 30 days before disposal.
    • After 30 days, hard drives will be wiped.
  • All hardware is evaluated to be considered for University re-allocation, donation to charity or general disposal.
  • Old computers and computer hardware are not available for faculty, staff, or student personal usage.

Instructions

  1. You will need to complete the ITS Hardware Disposal form. You may need to log into the Portal to access.
  2. Complete the form and send by campus mail to the Help Desk. Once form is received, the Help Desk will contact you to schedule a pickup.
  3. For other non-computer equipment, you will need to submit a maintenance work order with Physical Plant. You may need to log into the portal to access.
