Mailbox Size Limit Messages

Description

Students, Faculty and Staff are allocated 100 GB of space on the Microsoft 365 Exchange Online email server. That is a Microsoft limit which cannot be increased so we recommend you do the following.


More Information

  • If you delete email from your "Inbox" or "Sent Items" - they are moved to the "Deleted Items". You will need to empty the "Deleted Items".

Resolution/Troubleshooting
Clean email space:

  1. Delete personal items or move them to your Onedrive
  2. Remove large attachments like photos, videos, and PDF files and store to your Onedrive
  3. Delete old emails
    • Empty "Deleted Items" folder
    • Review "Sent Items"
  4. View "Folder Size" to identify large file size
