Zurn quota threshold exceeded

Description

By default, each departmental Zurn network share (example \\zurn\biology) that is created starts with 100GB of free space. If the allotment is exceeded, you will receive the following message and email.

More Information

  • If the 100GB allotment is exceeded, you will receive a one-time email that you’ve gone over the 100GB allotment, and that your space has been increased to 150GB.
    • If you attempt to exceed the 150GB allotment, you’ll receive the error and email listed above.

Resolution/Troubleshooting

  • Attempt to delete old or unused files and/or folders.
    • If there is no way to delete what’s on the network share, then contact the Help Desk to request additional space

Note: There is no guarantee that we can increase the space of the network share and we will review each on a case-by-case basis.

Cause

The 150GB limit cannot be exceeded without the System’s Administrator increasing the allotted space.
