Description
Getting any of the following errors when trying to use the Office 365 desktop apps on personal computers.
Errors:
- 70003: Device has been deleted
- CAA50021
- Reactivate license/products or License expired
- Unable to edit on Mac
- Loading icon while signing into desktop apps
Resolution/Troubleshooting
Step 1: Sign out of everywhere with the Gannon account
- Navigate to office.com.
- Select your name/Initials in the upper right corner, then 'View Account'.
- On the "Overview' tab on the left side panel, select 'Sign out everywhere'.
(Windows Computers) Step 2: Disconnect Gannon account from work or school in Windows settings
- Search 'Access work or school' in the Windows search.
- Disconnect the Gannon Account and then reboot the machine.
- Open the office app to sign back in.
(MacBooks) Step 2: Sign out of the office app affected
- Open the office app and select 'sign out' from the top right.
- Select 'Sign out'.
- Reboot the machine and open the office app to sign back in.
