My.gannon.edu Information

Gannon Portal
Access https://my.gannon.edu for all of your campus needs. One simple logon at https://my.gannon.edu provides easy access to your Gannon email, Announcements, BlackBoard Learn, Self-Service, GUGold, department information and other campus resources.

Blackboard Learn
Blackboard Learn, Gannon’s Learning Management System, enables each course offered at Gannon an area for online communication, collaboration and sharing of course content. Faculty are able to use Blackboard Learn as an extension of the classroom by sharing lectures, media and other course content with students. Students can access Blackboard Learn by logging onto my.gannon.edu and expanding the “Academics” menu to then select the “Blackboard Learn” option. Students may also access Angel directly at https://gannon.blackboard.com. Students will need their Network ID and password to access.

GUGold
The GUGold card is your Student ID and more. The card serves as a photo ID for access to Gannon facilities, events and services. The card also serves as your board plan (if applicable) and as a debit card for making purchases on and off campus. The debit card function is activated by depositing money into your GUGold account through the Cashier’s office or online. View your account balance, monitor your transactions and make a deposit all on https://my.gannon.edu.

Self-Service
As a Student at Gannon, you can use Self-Service to view your tuition bill, grades, schedule, transcript, course availability and more. You may want to generate an Academic Evaluation, a checklist of courses required for your major or a major you’re considering changing to. You also have the capability to preselect the courses you wish to register for to make online registration through Self-Service even faster. Parental access is also defined and set up through this site via Person Proxy.

Email
More than just email, Office 365 will also provide our Students with a number of productivity and collaboration tools, including 50 GB mailbox for email, 1 TB of online file storage, group calendaring, shared online documents, Office Web Apps and much more. And, because Office 365 is browser-based, Students will be able to access all of these services from virtually any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection.

Along with this service, Students on Office 365 will have an email address called @gannon.edu.

When new Students log into the Office 365 service, they will need to use their NetworkID@gannon.edu. After logging into my.gannon.edu, students will see a Office 365 web part. Direct link for student email is https://outlook.com/gannon.edu. Email addresses are <NetworkID>@gannon.edu. Link for Online Help: http://help.outlook.com.

If you have questions about Office 365, please don’t hesitate to contact the ITS Help Desk at 871-7501.
