How To Request an Office Move (Existing Staff/Faculty)

Instructions and information on how to schedule an office move for existing Faculty or Staff

Office set ups for new employees are coordinated through HR and a different New Employee process.

Office moves require a coordinated effort between many campus departments.  It is important that furniture, computers, and printers are moved on the same day, so once the move is completed, normal work activities may resume.  

 Fill out an Office Move Form through Physical Plant 15 days prior to the scheduled move.  This form will initiate requests with physical plant, and ITS Help Desk

If the date of a scheduled move needs to be changed, all parties need to be notified in order to coordinate another date.  Otherwise, furniture may be moved by Physical Plant, but the Help Desk may have other moves happening and be unavailable to move computers or phone extensions at that time.  This may result in a very frustrating experience of working between two offices, until these departments have available technicians to assist.

To reschedule, please contact the Gannon ITS Help Desk and the technicians will work with Physical Plant teams to arrange a new time.
