Description
When clicking on the Microsoft applications when signed into office.com, users are getting ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR when using the Chrome browser.
Table of Content:
Resolution/Troubleshooting
Solution 1: Disable the QUIC protocol
- Type "chrome://flags/" into the Chrome browser address bar and the type "quic" into the search
- Change from default to disabled in the drop-down
- You should get a prompt to re-launch Chrome, if not then close the browser
Note: If this does not resolve the problem, try solution 2.
Solution 2: Disable Chrome Extensions
- Type "chrome://extensions/" in the Chrome browser address bar
- Disable all extensions, then re-enable them one-by-one to find which one is causing the problem.
- If there is an extension that was installed before getting the error, start by disabling that extension first
Note: If this does not resolve the problem, try solution 3.
Solution 3: Check Proxy Settings with Windows
- Type "internet options" into the Windows search box
- Select the connections tab, then, select LAN setting
- Make sure that the Use a proxy server for your LAN setting is unchecked. Then, click OK and then Apply. You might also need to restart your computer if you made a change.
