Description
Troubleshooting International Student and Scholar Management (ISSM) uploads and downloads to SEVIS failing.
Resolution/Troubleshooting
Before submitting a ticket:
- Inquire with Gannon's PDSO if the SEVIS or ISSM applications have been upgraded in the previous week. If they have, submit an incident request.
- Wait 2-4 hours and try the upload/download again. Temporary intermittent integration outages between ISSM and SEVIS occur occasionally. ITS cannot provide assistance to shorten these temporary outages.
When submitting a ticket:
- Specify when the upload/download issues were first identified.
- Include any error or warning messages received.
- Are other Global Admissions or Global Support staff experiencing a similar issue? If so, please include this in the ticket.
- If the outage is impacting record processing with near-term deadlines, please list the business impacted, the number of records known to be impacted, and the deadline day/time for processing.
