Description
Your Network ID will be the first 8 characters of your last name with a 3-digit suffix (example: smith031). Network ID get emailed out to the personal email that you applied to Gannon University with, if you did not receive an email check your spam/junk mailbox.
Gannon email address: <Network ID>@gannon.edu
What's my default password: The last four digits of your SSN/SEVIS ID followed by capital initials for your first and last name, then written a second time to reach the 12+ character requirements (example: 1234AB1234AB). Don't have a first name? Use the capital initial of your last name twice (example: 1234AA1234AA).
If you are an International student who does not know your SEVIS ID, contact the Global Support and Student Engagement Office for assistance at 814-871-7015.

- Upon first sign-in, you will get prompted to change your password, agree to policies, and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Changing of the default password needs to happen before you get register any devices on-campus Wi-Fi.
- Student emails are stored on Microsoft servers and no backups are kept.
- Students are allotted 100 GB email space and 1 TB of online OneDrive storage

Network IDs can also be found by navigating to https://selfservice.gannon.edu and click on the 'forgot your user name?'.
- Enter your first name, last name, and the personal email used to apply to Gannon and click 'Submit'.
- Your Network ID will be sent to your personal email.
If you are at a Gannon University workstation and cannot log into the workstation to get to the Portal page and cannot access any other device to reach the my.gannon.edu self-service links on the portal please contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance.
